Born in Chicago, IL and raised in South Bend, Ind., Jeb graduated with a BA in English from IU Bloomington in 1996 and settled a couple years later in Indianapolis. Jeb co-founded an early eBay consignment company, Stuffe, with his college friend Jason Yoder in 1999. He later co-founded the first Indiana based eBay Live auction house, Antique Helper, in 2001 with Dan Ripley. He also founded music archive site Musicalfamilytree.com in early 2004.

Jeb left Antique Helper to start Small Box in January of 2006 with partner Joe Downey, who was also working at Antique Helper.

For the last two years, Jeb has headed up the Broad Ripple Music Fest. This event happens in Fall and features local bands from all over the greater Indianapolis area. It is also a fundraiser for local non-profits. This past year over 100 bands, 15 venues and many local nonprofits took part.

Jeb also teaches J101 Media Technology at Franklin College's Pulliam School of Journalism. The class is an overview of modern software in the context of modern journalism. You can view some of the student's work at FranklinPSJ.com.

Jeb is the "idea guy" for the business and infuses his forward-thinking vision into every Small Box project. Jeb and his wife Jenny have three beautiful daughters; Ramona, Georgia, and Sylvia. His interests include family, friends, music-playing and recording, gardening, the web, travel, biking, cooking and late night walks.

As CEO, Jeb has a hand in almost every aspect of Small Box - from managing web design and development to consulting on new media, Internet marketing or search engine optimization (SEO) initiatives.
