For the first Beer Friday Live session in our new office, we invited local blues-rockers Swig to play a short set of their sizzling tunes for our staff. 'Boxers enjoyed some delicious brew alongside Swig's soulful blend of classic sounds.
In fact, Swig rocked so hard that guitarist Brian Petersen's amp unleashed a cloud of smoke and ceased functioning, cutting the performance a bit short. Fortunately, Leigh Marino (who is not only Swig's bassist but also happens to be SmallBox's Creative Director) jumped in with an intimate solo rendition of "Whiskey Red" to close out the band's show.
