Challenge
The site was already up and running when the owners sought out Small Box for our Internet marketing expertise. The graphic design of the site was adequate but not outstanding, and the site had most of the needed capability and functionality. The challenge was to boost the site in the search engines and increase public awareness of the site throughout the Internet.Solution
First, Small Box worked on the site: enhancing the graphic design, cleaning up the look, streamlining the visual appearance and adding functionality where needed. Then, we conducted a complete SEO overhaul to increase the site in the search engine rankings. Finally, we launched a comprehensive Pay-Per-Click campaign for one event, the Kentucky Derby. Future efforts include a Viral Marketing campaign (featuring a You Tube video contest) and further Pay-Per-Click options. Results
The essence of Internet marketing is to increase awareness. And the essence of Viral Marketing is to get your audience to spread the word. Small Box understands how to make the Web work for your company, and SportEvents.com is a perfect example of that. The owners put $20,000 into the Pay-Per-Click campaign for the Kentucky Derby and experienced over $250,000 in sales from that one event alone. Internet marketing has limitless potential for almost every company, and we know how to leverage that potential.Portfolio: Sport Events
