Web Design

User friendly Web design is the only kind that matters.

Creativity is essential, a beautiful design is, well, a beautiful thing. But neither matter if it isn't user friendly. The most important element to any Web design is the user experience. Consider Google, their home page is just a box and a search button. This simplicity of design is key to their remarkable success. They know what their users want, to find something, and they do that one thing very well.

Our approach to Web design is to understand the desired outcomes and then craft a seamless user experience to achieve those outcomes. Sometimes that means extreme simplicity, sometimes rich graphic interfaces. Our goal is to create the experience your customer is wanting to have. We really see your customer as our client, we are serving their needs.

Our Design Director, Lydia Whitehead, is a unique talent — a skilled designer who can also code. She really gets the Web and it shows in her work.

Wireframes and Prototypes

Before we open Photoshop or consider color schemes, we wireframe. What's wireframing? It's creating very basic graphic layouts for the different pages of a website. We consider this an essential first step to creating the desired user experience. In some cases, with larger websites or Web applications, we create fully interactive prototypes which mimic different user levels and interactivity. This can save you real money down the road. It's much harder, and much more expensive, to make a fundamental change once a site has been fully designed and developed.

Web Design

Once we have final wireframes or prototypes we work on the actual site look and feel. Our design team understands how to blend the usability and search engine best practices with great looking design. We pride ourselves on not really having a "look" to our work. We want your brand — not ours — to be front and center.

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

Design doesn't stop at launch. All the traffic in the world doesn't matter if your site doesn't convert. Design informs the user experience so once the website starts getting traffic the next step is to see what is and isn't working. We set up goals for conversion points on the site and make incremental design and user experience changes to improve the site's conversion rate. Think of this: doubling your site conversions is equal to doubling its traffic. Guess which one is usually easier.
