Musical Family Tree
Musical Family Tree is a labor of love. Our CEO Jeb Banner spawned MFT in 2004 as an MP3 archive project for Indiana music. It was actually the first project that Jeb and Joe Downey worked on together. In many ways, it's the reason that SmallBox exists today!
10,000 MP3s later, MFT has developed into not just an archive, but a social media site for Indiana musicians, an online record store and at times even a record label. In 2012, Jon Rogers came on board to manage the site — including writing fresh content and exploring the possibilities of obtaining 501c3 nonprofit status.
