One Non-Profit. One Web Site. Only 24-Hours. That's the 24 Hour Web Project.
You can't have more pressure as a web designer than to come up with an attractive and functional web site in a very short period of time. That was the challenge of the 24 Hour Web Project, and the task for Small Box to create a site that communicates the good work of local non-profit, Second Helpings.
Nora Spitznogle, Director of Operations for Second Helpings, says, "It was a pleasure to watch the creative team interact with the designers -- the level of respect for ideas and each other was obvious. I don't hesitate recommending Small Box to anyone."

How Much Should A Website Cost?
Determining what to budget for a new website can be difficult. Too many companies still think of their web presence in terms of a "brochure" site from 5 or even 10 years ago. When you start to look at your website as less of a shingle that you just hang out on the Internet and more as your own personal, multi-channel TV station broadcasting your content 24/7, then you can start to see the true value of your website. UsualSupectsIndy.com
A single website provides a look into two local nightlife hot spots Usual Suspects and The Casba bar are two local hot spots that are owned and operated by the same management - and one is located directly above the other. But these two popular venues have even more in common these days - they now share a web site.
Our challenge was to design and develop a single site that showcased each location - the restaurant above and the bar below. UsualSuspectsIndy.com is the splash page that allows visitors to continue on to the Usual Suspects site or visit CasbaIndy.com. Both locations are cross-marketed, allowing visitors to go between each and learn about daily specials, upcoming events, changing menus and more. In addition to site's great design, Small Box also provided a photographer who took impressive photos of each venue.
The result was a fun, visual and resourceful site for nightlife goers that highlights each location's different offerings.

Cavertwire.com Web site for wire business sets a higher standard for the competition
Founded in 1910, Cavert Wire is the largest manufacturer of baling
wire in the United States. Cavert Wire came to Small Box in need of a
complete web site overhaul. Cavert's former web site was in need of a new
look and updated functionality for their nation wide sales staff, and
SEO was also a high priority. Small Box proposed a design process that
made sense given their timeline and budget, but built on our first
class Content Management System and with full implementation of search
engine strategies, giving Cavert Wire a best-in-class web site for the
wire industry.

Naab Consulting is a national, full-service consulting firm that specializes in assisting CPAs, accountants and tax professionals in marketing, buying, and selling tax
practices. They needed a website to enhance their communication as
brokers for buyers and sellers in this evolving industry. Nabb's site
features several methods for potential buyers and sellers to interface
with their team of brokers. This website will help them achieve their
goal to move ahead of the pack and become national players.
As a second stage to the Naab Consulting development, in 2009 an effort
was made to rely more on attractive imagery and a branded experience
over large blocks of text with strategic keywords. This new design
further differentiates Naab Consulting from their competition, and
focuses on the seller of a tax firm or accounting practice.
