Elizabeth Heil

Office Manager

efficiency extraordinaire, happiness maker

SmallBoxer since: May 2011

Favorite thing about working at SmallBox? I love being part of such a positive work environment with fun & creative people that appreciate my strengths and talents and also challenge me to learn new things.

What do you geek out on? Efficiency, new recipes, good conversations, Food Network

What would you do if you weren't working at SmallBox? Culinary school

When you're not SmallBoxing, you're most likely: Spending time with my hubby & daughter, cooking, reading, finding new recipes on Pinterest, volunteering at my church, kickboxing, taking walks, mentoring high school kids

How do you get involved in your community? I work with my husband's organization, Youth Mentoring Initiative. We provide mentoring programs for junior high and high school students on school campuses, working on personal development and life skills. I also help lead the youth ministry adult volunteer team and work with high school students at our church.

I believe in: finding joy in the simple things and living life with purpose and hope.

What's the best piece of advice you've ever gotten? Lead by example.

Favorite band: I'm a fan of many styles and genres of music — definitely struggle to name a fave.

Favorite place in Broad Ripple: Monon Food Company

Longest you can go without internet: Probably a couple days — I like having weekends "unplugged"...oh wait- I need the Internet for Pinterest...2 days might be a little long...

What is the meaning of life? Love others and be the difference you want to see in the world.

What's your ninja superpower? Multitasking.

What's your proudest achievement? My marriage to my best friend — learning what it means to love someone unconditionally and embracing the adventures of life together.

Favorite internet meme: Bed Intruder

Favorite cat video: I'm definitely more of a dog person...

Favorite movie: Return to Me or Julie & Julia

Google/Apple/Facebook/Amazon — which one do you like the most and why? Apple — love how intuitive it is.
