What do you geek out on? Playing bass guitar, writing music, collecting vinyl, drawing

What would you do if you weren't working at SmallBox? Be a fine artist, a writer or play in a band.

When you're not SmallBoxing, you're most likely: Playing bass guitar, drawing, singing, dancing, reading, meditating, watching good movies, or playing angry birds on my ipad.

I believe in: me.

What's the best piece of advice you've ever gotten? Keep it simple, stupid.

Favorite band: Beatles, Killing Joke, ELO, Ray Charles, Simple Minds, RL Burnside, Black Keys, M83, Big Mama Thornton, And Also The Trees, Wire, Gang of Four, and tons more.

Favorite place in Broad Ripple: My newest "fav" place is Insomnia Cookies. I also like to go to Indy CD & Vinyl, Luna and/or Vibes weekly.

Longest you can go without internet: 8 hours (when I sleep)

What is the meaning of life? To do what you love.

What's your ninja superpower? Creative problem-solving

What's your proudest achievement? My career (considering I have no degree or formal training.)

Favorite internet meme: Damn You Auto Correct

Favorite cat video: Marcel the Shell (not technically a cat, but darn cute!)

Favorite movie: Life Is Beautiful

Google/Apple/Facebook/Amazon — which one do you like the most and why? Apple (simple, elegant, intuitive).

Any noteworthy awards you wanna mention? 25+ Best of Show, Gold and Silver in a variety of the Ad Club's Addys competitions. Gold and Best of Show at the Origination Design Competition (AIGA), 2003.
Served as Judge for the Houston Art Directors awards in 2002. Served as a Judge for the District 8 Addy awards in 2003.
