Tell the world
The Story Inn is Indiana's oldest country inn, located where the Brown County State Park meets the Hoosier National Forest. The Story Inn is actually an entire town, founded as a logging community in 1851. It is perhaps the best preserved example of a 19th Century village that survives in the American Midwest.
The little town/inn is dominated by an old General Store, which is now a gourmet restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a neighborhood pub in the basement. The remaining buildings in town serve as overnight accommodations or facilities for weddings, family reunions or other special events. On the last Saturday of each April the little town of Story briefly comes alive when it hosts the Indiana Wine Fair.
The Story Inn had a very old site, which suffered from a lack of organization or easy navigability - a result of the diverse nature of their business. Small Box re-built the site from scratch, creating many photo galleries throughout. We ended up with the website that is easy to navigate, well designed, and which speaks to the several diverse areas of the Story Inn's unique business.

"The Story Inn is a 19th century village located in southern Brown County, Indiana. Late last summer, Small Box completely redesigned our website, www.storyinn.com. It would be a gross understatement to say that I am "satisfied" with the finished product. While the country's banks were going insolvent, and as familiar titans of industry begged Congress for bailouts, we actually saw an INCREASE in business. I will say, without hesitation, that this was the most effective advertising effort in our ten year history. "
